The 2009 McAllen Arts Council Grants program is in effect. Applications are being accepted until May 1st. Grants amount are up to $1,000 and applications and guidelines can be downloaded at www.mcallenartscouncil.com or you can call Greg Schuller at 687-2787 for more information or for applications.
A Scrapbooking workshop will be held at the McAllen Creative Incubator on Tuesday, March 31st at 730pm. This workshop is part of the Cultural Arts and Entertainment Series (CAES) offered by the McAllen Chamber and is free and open to all ages. Call Greg at 687-2787 to sign up for this workshop.
The 1st annual McAllen Arts Council Fine Art Show will be held from March 31st through April 3rd at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce. Everybody is encouraged come and see beautiful works of art submitted by local artists.
