McAllen Convention & Visitors Bureau

We've been working on "Team McAllen" the past couple of months. This is a program in which we find local friends and acquaintances who belong to state and national associations. We are particularly drawn to members who serve on boards and committees within these associations. Our experience has shown that these people can have great influence on where associations conduct their annual meetings and conferences. With these "team members" pulling along with the staff of the CVB, we increase the odds that we'll attract more conventions. When association meeting planners experience our Convention Center, our climate, our people and our "fun filled" area, we usually get a commitment.
