Comparing McAllen to other places

I travel quite a bit. I go all over the country, and even sometimes to other countries. In the last 30 days I've been to San Angelo, Miami, Kansas City, and Houston. Each of those cities has its own charms, but I'm always so happy to come back to McAllen. McAllen is where you can get real Tex-Mex, where you can walk down the street without worrying about being mugged or worse, and where the people are so friendly it's sometimes hard to stop smiling. There truly is no place like it.
