Our beloved Winter Texans

I received a call yesterday from a winter texan couple that do volunteer work for us. They were calling to see how everyone was doing and to let us know how much they miss us. Here at the chamber we have a group of winter texan volunteers called the McAllen Amigos. The group has been in existence for over 25 years. It's amazing the bond that forms when you work with these couples during the winter months. They donate their time and efforts to any project we may have during their stay and they always show up with a smile and ready for whatever project we may give them. It's been almost 2 months since they have gone home and we can't wait for them to come back!! The chamber is always in need of volunteers to help with mailouts and events.
