McAllen View...

Our speaker at my local Rotary club was the General Manager of our local Hockey Team, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. We've had this AA level hockey team for six years and they have been among the most successful teams in the league in terms of attendance, season ticket holders, group sales etc. The reason for their success, according to Grant Buckborough is that their three main goals, in the order of importance are first, community service, second entertainment, and third hockey. They have raised over 1.2 million dollars for local non-profits while providing terrific entertainment and some darn good hockey too! Last year the Killer Bees were one of the youngest teams in the league and most of their players are returning. We expect to contend for the championship this coming season.

Just another reason to come to McAllen - we have the hockey, arena football, professional baseball and NBA developmental league basketball. So, whatever the season, there is a game in town. Come visit us!
