Wow!
Congratulations to Sharyland's Ruben Hinojosa Elementary Chess Team as they won 2nd place at the Super National's Chess Tournament in Nashville, TN.
They had recently won 1st place at the 2009 Texas State Scholastic Chess Championships on March 21& 22 at the New McAllen Convention Center. This was the first time that the Texas State Chess Championships were in the Rio Grande Valley!!
Way to go!!!!!
